Yes, I had the same issues, but now I digress.įirst, I'm not too sure there is a need to preface the way you did I and others are very proud of our/their MX 8000's, they do a very good job for the monies we paid.įark the k.z who have nothing but shite to say, but still 'hate' based on 'mostly' heresay.True, B do make some shit, and I know, because I've owned it!! I'm done with logic and common sense.Īny help appreciated - even bitching behringer comments if they're constructive to my situation! Sometimes it happens after 5 minutes of power up, sometimes after 7 hours.

I obviously get crackly audio through the monitors when it occurs, but the one really weird thing is that when it happens, and then when I SLOWLY flick the power switch OFF - then back ON on the power supply, the sound comes back - albeit for a moment half way across the switching. I've noone local and reputable to take it to, so I'd rather work out what the problem is, before I get charged up to £250/US$500 for someone to fleece me and tell me it's stuffed. I've been advised, and through internet search, it seems that it may be overheating, or the transformer is on the way out, or the 18v rail has a problem.

At this point in time, that's not possible. I'm sure there's someone out there who's had the same problem.īelieve me, if I had the money at the moment, I'd get rid immediately and get something 'more professional'. Not so good mid session though, obviously!! Just switched ON/OFF afyter it happened again and it's all fired up fine. My main solo/pfl led goes on, with a selection of channel led's coming on. Mx8000, working fine, then odd thing happens. Sorry, had to do the preface thing, I know there are a lot of behringer slaters out there. Ok - don't shoot me before I speak, I've just had two new engines fitted in my wagon in the last two months, at stupid cost, and I'd love to buy a new mackie or similar, but first I've got to get the behringer mx8000 fixed - to do the work - to get the money - to pay for the motor and new mixer.
